RECRUITMENT

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about The Delta Chi Fraternity. Becoming a member; contributing your time and talents to our brotherhood may be the best decision you make while in college, and we applaud your efforts to make the most informed decision.

Since its founding in 1890 at Cornell University, Delta Chi has grown to more than 125 chapters and colonies across North America and has initiated more than 94,000 initiates. Becoming a member of Delta Chi is more than just becoming part of a club. It provides you with the opportunity to be involved with an international brotherhood spanning 116 years, to refine your personal and social skills, to develop a sense of belonging and fellowship in a college environment, and to jump-start your success after college. It also encourages you to broaden your college experiences through leadership programming, intramural events, academic support, inter-Greek events, regional conferences, and international conventions.

The journey towards full membership in Delta Chi may have already begun for you, and we hope that Delta Chi ends up being the right fraternity for you.

Our goal is to develop in its members a commitment to life-long learning and personal growth by complementing the educational mission of Chico State University and creating in our members the understanding that development of the whole person is paramount to successfully becoming a fully functioning and contributing member of society.

The Chico State Chapter of Delta Chi is actively searching for our next recruitment class for the Fall of 2020. Our Chapter focuses on recruiting those that share the same values we do: Friendship, Character, Justice, Education. Our brotherhood is composed of ambitious young professionals motivated to better themselves, the Chapter, and CSUC all while having fun building lifelong relationships that last beyond your time in college.

Associate membership occurs once each fall and spring. Fall is more of a formal rush process that usually starts during the first month of school. The Recruitment committee will plan social events and meetups throughout both fall and spring semesters. Interested candidates can contact our Recruitment Chairman for more details. Come on out and see what we are all about. If nothing else, you will at least make a few new friends in the process.
